Sean Colson, one of two original founders and Chairman of PC Consultants, passed away in December 2025 with a funeral taking place in Varna, Bulgaria where he lived in recent years, and a memorial service taking place at the Lakeside Hotel on the Isle of Wight in January 2026, with many tributes being paid following his death.
It was Sean Colson, who alongside Mike Parsons came together in 1993 to create Parsons & Colson Consultants Ltd, from whom PC Consultants gained their name. The company achieving significant growth and success in the decades that followed including The King’s Award for Enterprise in 2025. An achievement which Sean took immense pride in, not simply as recognition of commercial success, but of the ethos first instilled by Sean that underpinned it, and as evident today as it was in 1993.
Beyond business, Sean was committed to helping others. Supporting fundraising for the Ryde Inshore Lifeboat, including efforts that led to the launch of the Sir Norman Echlin Lifeboat, and becoming a founding trustee of the MAD-Aid charity.
His legacy living on through the businesses he built, the causes he supported, and the many lives he enriched along the way. He will be sadly missed.
