We were pleased to have the opportunity to support the Island Animal Centre near Godshill, with Tim Brown and Mark Oatley from the PC Consultants Team volunteering their time to make a difference for the animals they care for.

During the day Tim and Mark helped with a variety of hands-on activities including painting, cleaning enclosures, tidying around the site and socialising dogs. Helping to give the centre a much-needed boost.

The event offered the perfect opportunity for Tim and Mark to meet the centre’s staff and develop a fuller understanding of their important work and the challenges they face in investigating animal cruelty and neglect, as they work to rehabilitate and rehome hundreds of vulnerable animals every year.

The Island Animal Centre is a local independent charity and proud to be part of the RSPCA family. Established in the 1950’s, costing £750,000 to run operations each year with 95% of their income raised locally, through their shops in Newport, Ryde, Sandown and Ventnor, from donations and services including 5-Star boarding accommodation for cats and dogs.
