Reflecting our ongoing commitment to protect the Island’s unique biosphere in which we live and work. It’s also been a great collaborative platform to work with like-minded businesses and our team, to understand, measure, and manage our environmental impact.”

The awards from SOS-UK, are funded by the Isle of Wight Council and form one of the United Nations sustainability engagement programmes for businesses, recognising a business’s commitment to business sustainability and creating more sustainable working environments.
Under the scheme companies develop practical actions to reduce costs, improve efficiency and strengthen environmental performance from a toolkit of 190 practical actions ranging from simple measures, such as switching off unused electrical equipment to developing a comprehensive sustainability policy, all of which support the Isle of Wight’s unique and cherished UNESCO Biosphere Reserve environment and status.
