In December 2025 Sean Colson, one of two original founders and Chairman of PC Consultants, passed away. However, his legacy continues.
As a founding trustee of MAD-Aid, Sean gave his time, support and extended the resources of PC Consultants to the charity. A charity first created to help children with disabilities in the Republic of Moldova to gain mobility and thereby, education. Which since 2012, has now delivered vital medical aid to 39 hospitals in Moldova, 3 in Ukraine and 2 in Romania.
Reflecting this dedication and in tribute to the legacy left by Sean, he was posthumously honoured within the charities latest project which aims to renovate Moldova’s ageing hospitals one ward at a time.
On 16th June 2026, newly refurbished wards of The Mother and Child Hospital in Chișinău, the nation’s capital, were opened, carrying a posthumous dedication to Sean as a tribute to his selfless purpose. A major event in Moldova drawing significant media attention, attended by Jonathan Thornton, CEO of PC Consultants who also gave a speech, and Dale Howarth, Director. Which followed meetings with Moldovan state officials in the National Parliament Building.
Under Seans guidance PC Consultants has worked closely with MAD-Aid, raising funds and alongside the Islands NHS Trust and Mountbatten Hospice repurposing medical equipment destined for scrap, directing this to support Moldovan communities and now hospitals. A commitment that continues today.
With two floors of The Mother and Child Hospital completed and receiving patients, the charities attentions turn to the remaining wards in a hospital which hasn’t seen any investment since 1986, with tiles falling off the walls, dangerous electrical wiring, and a ventilation system which doesn’t work.
