PC Consultants recently joined other leading Island businesses to celebrate the Green Impact scheme, with 27 awards presented to business of all sizes at an awards ceremony held at Calbourne Water Mill.

We were pleased to have the opportunity to support the Island Animal Centre near Godshill, with Tim Brown and Mark Oatley from the PC Consultants Team volunteering their time to make a difference for the animals they care for.

On 16th June 2026, newly refurbished wards of The Mother and Child Hospital in Chișinău, the nation’s capital, were opened, carrying a posthumous dedication to Sean as a tribute to his selfless purpose.

With a focus on providing opportunity for people, irrespective of background or academic achievement confirmed by our being presented a coveted The King’s Awards for Enterprise in 2025, we are proud to now be recognised as a Living Wage Employer by the Living Wage Foundation, one of only 21 business across the Isle of Wight.

We were once again pleased to support organisers Paul Thorley (‘Mr Yummy’) and Mark Henry for a special Chinese New Year celebratory Supper Club, held at the Sir Max Aitken Museum in Cowes.

Sean Colson, one of two original founders and Chairman of PC Consultants, passed away in December 2025 with a funeral taking place in Varna, Bulgaria where he lived in recent years, and a memorial service taking place at the Lakeside Hotel on the Isle of Wight in January 2026, with many tributes being paid following his death.

Sponsorship from PC Consultants helping to support the club and its annual regatta, which this year featured a weekend of seniors events, racing over a three lane, 1,450m straight course through to small boats and aspiring rowers from the junior ranks competing over 1000m.

A team from PC consultants took their place on the water alongside nine other teams for the inaugural Dragon Boat Race, recently held at Island Harbour in support of Wessex Cancer Support, raising £19,000 for the charity.

For the past 10 years PC Consultants has supported Shine. A charity formed in 1966, supporting everyone living with spina bifida, hydrocephalus and related conditions.

Osborne House was the venue for a very special event, which saw PC Consultants presented with The Kings Award for Enterprise by The King’s Representative for the Island, Lord Lieutenant Susie Sheldon, with Jonathan Thornton, CEO receiving the award on behalf of the company.

PC Consultants continues to reflect its ongoing support and funding for the Island’s Basketball League and youth sport, something it has consistently provided every year, which started with support for the launch of ‘The Little 3 Basketball League’ in 2019.
